Hundreds of Selly Oak constituents back local MP calling for urgent review of the National Funding Formula for schools which will see Birmingham lose £20million

Steve McCabe MP has written to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to ask her to refuse the application from the National Farmers Union to temporarily lift the ban on harmful neonicotinoid pesticides.

Steve has given his support to the charity’s Working for Change campaign which aims to change attitudes to hearing loss in the workplace amongst employers. Steve has supported a number of his deaf constituents in the past who have had problems getting the support they are entitled to in the workplace via the government’s Access to Work funding scheme.

Birmingham Selly Oak MP, Steve McCabe, has urged people living in the Midlands to protect themselves from the deadly threat of Carbon Monoxide (CO) poisoning.

Recent research from the Carbon-Monoxide – Be Alarmed! Campaign found that 47% of people in the Midlands and over 27 million people across the country are at risk of carbon monoxide poisoning, because they do not have a CO alarm fitted in their home.
