Local MP continues to highlight the scandal of childhood tooth decay

In the last year he has been inundated with complaints about burglaries, street muggings, car jackings and aggressive anti-social behaviour, particularly that involving gangs on motorcycles creating mayhem on roads and parks and terrorising local communities. The MP himself was assaulted when he tackled thugs on motorbikes in July this year.

 

As is common these days, I’ve been inundated with constituents asking me to vote for or against the EU Withdrawal Bill. Those who want me to vote against fear this is an attack on democracy. Those who believe this is about Brexit have bought the Government’s argument that it must have its own way on everything, even if that’s obviously against the interests of the majority of the British people.

 

 

Steve McCabe wrote to Mr Thomas as part of an ongoing consultation into bus routes in South Birmingham. Many of Mr McCabe’s constituents will be widely affected by the withdrawal of the 27 bus, including those trying to access the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Northfield, local schools, Bournville train station and other local facilities.
