Challenging schools to Make a Difference

Steve McCabe MPI have written to primary schools in Hall Green to encourage them to take part in the Go Givers Make a Difference Challenge.

The project, which is run by the Citizenship Foundation through the Go Givers scheme, helps children become activists for a cause of their choice. The challenge will also allow schools to develop partnerships with charities, voluntary groups and community groups to help children see how their actions can make a difference in the world.

This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to take charge of a project and to see how they can really make a difference through positive activities.

We all too often hear negative things about young people and I’m really keen to help with these sorts of projects to show the wonderful contribution young people can make to our communities.
