Whizz-Kidz add survey to their campaign

Steve McCabe visited Whizz-Kidz earlier this year to see the work they are doing and to talk to them about campaigning. Ambassadors at Whizz-Kidz have since continued their campaign about the lack of disabled parking spaces and want to hear what other disabled people think. The survey can be accessed here

Whizz-Kidz is a charity which aims to get young disabled people mobile. The charity runs ‘Ambassador Clubs’ eight times a year in Selly Oak. These clubs help disabled youngsters develop their independence in a fun and safe environment. This is done through a range of activities including drama, music, sport and healthy living classes.

Steve McCabe visited Whizz-Kidz earlier on this year and said “I am absolutely delighted to hear that the Ambassadors are continuing their campaign and I hope people take time to fill out the survey.”

During Steve’s previous visit Texas Bishop, who is 15 and attended the club said, “Meeting Steve was a great inspiration for me. We talked about campaigning and he helped us to think about new ideas to raise awareness of the issues we care about. I hope to keep in touch.”
