On Saturday 25th June Steve attended the annual Bournville Festival held at the Bournville Cricket Ground near the Cadbury factory. This year was the 109th year that the event has been held in Bournville and over 8,000 people attended.

 

Steve said: “It was a great occasion. At events like those you can see the wonderful community spirit in Bournville. The Bournville Festival is an important tradition for the local community, and it is a fabulous event for the whole of Bournville to enjoy. My thanks go to Bournville Village Council for once again organising this festival”.

 

Steve also visited the Happy Valley Festival, held at Daisy Farm Park on Maypole Lane in Billesley.

 

Steve said “The event was a fantastic family day out that could be enjoyed by all. The Happy Valley Festival is an important event for the Billesley area. I had a great time, and I am proud to be part of the strong community in Billesley.”.
