Steve McCabe gives support to Young People’s Trust for the Environment

Steve McCabe MP (Labour, Birmingham Selly Oak) has thrown his weight behind the Young People’s Trust
Steve McCabe MP attended a Parliamentary reception entitled ‘Creating a Greener Future: An Introduction to the Work of the Young People’s Trust for the Environment’, where he met a number of school children and Dermot O’ Leary. Whilst there, he discussed the work of the organization and pledged to help in any way he could.
The organization exists to give young people an awareness of environmental problems, such as disappearing wildlife, the pollution of soil, air and water, the destruction of rainforests and the misuse of oceans.
Steve said “The Young People’s Trust for the Environment is at doing sterling work raising awareness of pressing environmental issues.
“As the next generation, our children will need to be fully aware of the effects of climate change and associated environmental problems.
“I commend the work of the charity and have pledged to do all I can to support the organization in their endeavour”.
