After several concerned phone calls from constituents about the flash flooding, particularly in Stirchley and Selly Oak, Steve’s office have spoken with Birmingham City Council Emergency Planning to find out what is being done to help ease the problem.


Emergency Planning are liaising with the Highways Department, Drainage Services, the Fire Service and the Police to ensure everything is being done to help the situation. There are also flood wardens on the ground.
