Steve wishes good luck to pupils moving on to Secondary School

Steve wants to wish good luck to pupils leaving Primary School this summer and taking the next step in their lives as they move on to Secondary School in September.

This is an exciting time for many children but it can also be nerve-racking. Steve reminded pupils that if they ever feel worried or have a problem it is really important to tell their mum or dad or a teacher.

Steve said:

“I wanted to write to pupils in my constituency to wish them good luck. We all have to make the transition to Secondary School and for most people it is something to look forward to; however some will be more anxious and nervous. It is important for pupils to remember that if you have a problem you should tell someone.

“I hope that all pupils moving on to Secondary School in September settle in to their new school and enjoy the start of the next chapter in their lives.

“Secondary School is a chance to begin that next important stage in growing up and discovering what we are good at. I hope pupils have a lovely summer and have a great start in September.
