Steve opens Cherry Oak school’s outdoor adventure playground

Steve joined staff and students from Cherry Oak School to cut the ribbon and officially open their outdoor play area.

Steve joined staff and students from Cherry Oak School, in Selly Oak, this month to open their recently built outdoor adventure playground.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony marks the culmination of years of fundraising to turn the patch of land into a multi-use, all weather playground.

Parents and representatives of the local community were also present whilst pupils played samba music and celebrated the harvest festival.

Steve said:

“I had the pleasure of meeting with Executive Head Justine Sims and past and present pupils to officially open their innovative adventure playground.

“I’m sure the children will enjoy using the playground all year round”.
