Steve takes part in the British Heart Foundation’s first ever ‘Tweet off’ to mark National Heart Month

Steve took part in a ‘Tweet off’ as part of National Health Month.

The British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) ‘Tweet off’ encouraged MPs to help beat heart disease by competing against their fellow MPs in a re-tweeting contest.

By taking part in the ‘Tweet off’, Steve hoped to raise awareness of National Heart Month; a time when the BHF urges people in the UK to think about their hearts and the hearts of those around them.

Steve also took part to encourage his 4,200 followers to get fundraising for the nation’s heart charity.

Steve said:

“It was a pleasure to help raise awareness of heart disease during National Heart Month by taking part in the first ever BHF ‘Tweet off’.

“I hope that more people will be encouraged to join in these activities to help the BHF to continue their vital, life-saving work.”
