Severn Trent Water are planning to undertake work in Stirchley to alleviate surface water flooding and flooding to properties in the Pershore Road/Ripple Road/Cartland Road/Newlands Roads Area.

Severn Trent Water are holding a public exhibition on Thursday 12th December 2013 from 16.00 until 19.00 at Fitness First Health Centre on the Pershore Road to inform the local community about the extent of the work and to discuss any queries residents may have. If you are unable to attend the public exhibition you can contact the Enterprise Project Manager on 07900 226031 for more information.

Works are expected to start at the beginning of 2014 and will be carried out in phases which will take approximately 12 months. Various traffic management notices will be put in place and Severn Trent will work closely with Birmingham City Council to keep disruption to a minimum by making sure that any road closures or traffic management plans are communicated. Severn Trent Water will maintain contact with those properties immediately affected and try to accommodate anyone with specific difficulties, if people have any access issues, it is best to advise Severn Trent in good time.
