Police Listening Campaign

I am encouraging people have their voices heard by getting involved with the West Midlands Police Authority (WMPA) listening campaign.

The WMPA is holding a number of forums across the region to give members of the public an opportunity to tell the police what they think they should be doing to best serve communities needs. The sessions will also explain what the role of the WMPA and then allow attendees to voice their opinions on what they think needs to be improved.

It is vital that people get involved with forums like these. The police are there to serve you and they need to know how best to do this, but they can only really know if you tell them.

People are also invited to submit their views online at www.wmpa-listeningcampaign.co.uk where they can also register their attendance to any of the meetings.

This is a great opportunity for people to get involved with their communities and have a say in what goes on. I hope many people across my constituency are able to take advantage of it.
