Steve McCabe MP has pledged his support for women with breast cancer by becoming a parliamentary ambassador for leading charity Breast Cancer Now.

Steve joins 210 MPs across the country who are pledging their support to Breast Cancer Now – the UK’s largest breast cancer charity – to remind fellow politicians and constituents alike that breast cancer is not a ‘done deal’ and that immediate action must be taken to stop the disease taking lives.

Steve McCabe MP says urgency is required in the talks involving West Midlands Police and Birmingham City Council in an effort to resolve the recurring ‘travellers’ problem which has disproportionately affected certain parts of Birmingham over the past year. Yesterday travellers moved onto Hazelwell Park and Recreation Ground after leaving the exact same site only a few weeks ago.

Steve McCabe MP has joined up with Infertility Network UK and Fertility Fairness, calling on the government to equalise access to IVF treatment for all women across the UK.

Birmingham City Council’s planning department have confirmed that the decision on Selly Park North flood prevention scheme and student accommodation in Selly Oak will be delayed until September.

A decision on the application was scheduled to take place on 18 August but has now been delayed until mid/late September.
